signed Repeal SB71 and Keep data center costs off household bills
I will vote to repeal SB71 and to restore Alabama's authority to set environmental standards that reflect Alabama's own rivers, soil, and air.
I will support legislation requiring that, before the Public Service Commission approves a covered large-load agreement, water use, power use, cost responsibility, contract terms, a local hearing, and open-meeting treatment of the negotiation are all established publicly and on the record.
